Practice

Supporting children/youth and parents.

Marie connects easily with children and youth by understanding and accepting their world and cultures. She genuinely loves their inherent energy, potential, and creativity. Her therapeutic approach can best be described as warm, direct, person-centred, and non-judgmental—authenticity and humour are central to her practice. Using the natural world and a wide range of eclectic collections, from superheroes and fairies to music and Lord of the Rings, Marie is able to quickly build rapport with even the most reticent children and youth. Once she has established a trusting relationship, she is able to begin working with them to help heal trauma, grow, and develop a solid sense of self. Her focus is to empower children and youth to understand and value their strengths and realize their full potential.
